Cowboy fans always agrue they are the team of the ninties, but how can a team rule a decade with a 6-10 record on year and on their way to .500 season? Then you look at the emortal 49ers and their winning record for nearly 20 YEARS! Are they not the team of the 80's and 90's.

What happened a few years back when Emmitt Smith's contract dispute sidelined him for 2 games(by the way players like Jerry Rice who are dedicated to their teams do not have contract diputes)? The Cowboys went 0-2! Jerry Rice, The greatest reciever of All-Time, gets brutally attacked and is injured for an entire season, but do the 49ers fall below .500? No they continue a winning tradition.

When was the last time a 49ers player cost them a touchdown with needless showboating or a just stupid play on a field goal attempt. I'm not calling Leon Lett stupid but I've seen smarter people in the audience of the Howie Mandell show.(Not that I watch the Howie mandell show.)
