WCW superstar Sting, Steve Borden was recently arrested for attempted robbery. Borden, 40, allegedly tried to steal Halloween candy from young children last Halloween, October 31, 1998. The children, Matt Doe, 9, and Robert Doe, 11, managed to escape the grips of the face-painted Wrestler. The "Stinger" was in full costume as he would be when at Pro Wrestling events and wouldn't acknowledge that his real name is indeed Steve Borden. A neighbor witnessed the accident and called 911 emediately, however, police did not arrive on the scene for another hour and a half.
It appears that the Bat weilding superstar was well organized and planned the "Snatching" of the candy many days prior to the incident; Borden reportedly scared the police with the scorpian on his attire and his

infamous Black Baseball Bat.
Officer Dunno fainted and was unconscious for the majority of the period in which the event occured, while Officer Kant, Dunno's partner for the night, had a severe case of the runs and had to return to his home for a fresh change of clothes.
Kant was on his way from his house when he heard of the accident and proceeded to pick up his partner. Apon arriving at the scene, Officer Dunno, immediately noticing the Scorpian, had a flashback and was hesitant to arrest the criminal.
Never-the-less Borden was apprehended and deported to criminal facilities |

where he awaits his court date. Steve Borden can receive a maximum sentence of 3 years in the state penetentiory and or a $10,000 dollar fine. He will go before the Judge within the next month and will elledidly be pleading with the "I am innocent" mentality.
Both of the Officers of the peace currently enrolled in councelling and will remain in the course for months to come; The officers are also on a leave from work for a few days, so that they can try to get calmed down and have a clear head when returning to duty.
