My Portfolio

Welcome to my portfolio page. All the images you see here have been either drawn or created by me, Becca:) I'm studying to become an animator and/or illustrator at Sheridan college. In order to get accepted in to these programs i must have a good portfolio which is what im trying to put together here. All these images are original works unless otherwise stated. My portfolio include paintings, sculpture, life drawing, fantasy art, cartoons and other works displaying various media. I've taken a county program in animation so have learned the basics in creating animated films. I have filmed a few of my own works including character walks, squash and stretch, overlapping action and morphing exercises along with my final animated project on painted cels. Also included on the tape is a few projects done on the computer using Animator Pro. This course also gave me a bit of experience with storyboards and character creation. I've also taken a program called Creative Arts. This course specialized in creating a portfolio to help students gain entry in to post secondary institutions in almost any art course. The works displayed below come mostly from that course. I know have knowledge in the use of many art forms along with many media. My personal favourite being the powdered graphite. I've done work in graphic design as well. I have designed many signs including the mascot for a local public school and have done displays for the school as well. I've worked in T-shirt and logo design as well. All the teddy bear pictures below were used in signs for the school. Since all of these images are original creations of mine, I would appreciate it if you wouldn't take them to use on your personal site or any other venue without consulting me first. If you do take one of my pictures, at least give me the credit for it.
