Larry H. Topham, 62, of 1606 Calumet Ave., Beloit Wis., died suddenly Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002 in Mercy Hospital, Jansville, Wis.
He was born Feb. 16, 1939 in Marshfield, Wis., the son of Lorne and Lucille Beaver Topham. He married Sharon Darwin on May 4, 1957 in South Beloit. He was employed at Besly Corporation retiring in 1999. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and affiliated member of the Devil Dogs. Larry was a member of the Marine Corps. League and enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and softball.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; four children, Debra (Guy) Barrett and Rhonda Hill, both of Beloit, Brenda (Michael) Barone of Fontana, Wis., and Kenneth (Joan) Topham of Beloit; nine grandchildren, Jason (Nichole) Barrett, Shawn Barrett, Ashley Barrett, Mendy Hill, Michelle Lynch, Nichole Updike, Kristen Topham, Kenneth Topham and Kaleb Topham; five great grandchildern, Payton Barrett, Tyler Berrett, Trevon Barrett, Luis Fernandea and Monica Frenandez; a sister, LaVonne (John) Flynn of Florida; Nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; his twin brother, Lonnie Topham; a sister, Lanice Flynn and a great grandson, Jordan Barrett.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002 in East Lawn Cemetery, Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Daley, Murphy, Wisch and Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, Wis.
A memorial in his name will be established.
