Michael Steinwagner, 507 West Eighth Street, son of Mrs. John Steinwagner was born in the town of Lincoln, Wood County, Wisconsin, November 27, 1890, and lived there until he was 16 years old, then his mother and family moved into this city, his father having died. His home has been here since. Graduating from St. John's Catholic School, he accepted employment in the Roddis Factory and worked there four years. Next he worked a year in the Upham Factory and then hired out to Ed Hallie, a building contractor, and began to learn the carpenter trade. Leaving Mr. Halle, two years later, he accepted employment with contractor James Wegner, for whom he has worked the past 15 years. Principal among the buildings which he had helped to construct are the Eagles Clubhouse and the Charles Hotel.
His marriage to Miss Betty Nelson, daughter of Gilbert Nelson, Ebbe, occurred in this city May 24, 1911.
Farternally, Mr. Steinwagner is identified with the Eagles and the Beavers. Politically, he is a progressive Republican. His hobbies are hunting, fishing amd motoring.
