HI! My name is William Joseph! I was born Sept. 3, 1997. I weighed 8lbs 15oz and was 21in long. My mom says I took a LONG time to get here, but it didn't seem too bad to me.
As of 04-05-99 I weighed 29 1/2lbs and am 31in tall. I am 1yr and 7mos old. I am a VERY active little guy and am starting to talk alot! I can say several words and I repeat Mommy and Daddy alot!
Please come back for more updates on how I am growing and learning!!09-05-99 My birthday was on the third, but Mommy and Daddy had my party late so it could be on a Saturday. I had Blue's Clues decorations and Mommy made my cake, except it wasn't a cake exactly. It was very cute, she baked the cake in ice cream cones and they spelled Happy Birthday Will! I liked it alot, they tasted yummy. All my family and friends came to celebrate my birthday and I got lots of great presents. It was lots of fun.
10-01-99 Mommy and I moved to a new apartment. I like it alot, I live right next door to my friend Kristen and I get to play with her everyday almost.
11-25-99 I got to spend the night with my Grandma Donna last night. And I stayed there all day while Mommy went to work. My little aunt and uncle were there, John and April, and my cousin Tyler. I got to play all day and eat turkey. It was fun.
11-26-99 Today I went with my daddy and my Grandma Vickie and my Grandpa Bill up to see daddy's family for the weekend. I know it will be fun. I always have fun at Great Grandma and Grandpa Carr's
04-12-99 I took Mommy to the park today. We had lots of fun. I got up on a bouncy toy all by myself. I also fell on my head, but I was okay. My favorite thing was the swings. Mommy pushed me high! And I said whee! whee! Then she pushed me really high, I said COOL! Mommy laughed so hard. She's weird sometimes. I also said my very first sentence today. I asked where Daddy was and Mommy said he went bye bye. I said Dada all gone. Mommy almost peed her pants!! She's so weird.
04-15-99 It's been rainy here. Haven't gotten to go back to the park. It isn't too fun. But Mommy has been bringing in my puppy, Sam, for me to play with. I love Sam. I try to get him to chase me but he just doesn't get it. Also he tries to take my binky. We fight over it all the time. But we have fun anyway. I will tell Mommy to post a picture of my Sam for you to see.
04-18-99 Mommy and I went to Wal Mart today. I love Wal mart! Mommy says I should because I have been going there since I was 3 days old. I went into the fitting room with Mommy. I waited until Mommy was taking off her shirt and then I crawled underneath the door into the hall. She came out in a second and I was laying on the floor looking under a different door. She called me a little peeping tom and laughed. She was glad I hadn't gotten away from her. I was too 'cause I think she was scared. Anyway, Mommy bought me some sandals a size too big but we still have to take them back 'cause my foot is too fat at the tops. They pinch. But we shopped for awhile and it was fun. There is so much to look at. I love Wal Mart!
04-21-99 Sunny days are here again! Today I took Mommy and my cousin James to the park. We had alot of fun. Mommy took pictures and says she will be posting some soon. Mommy says I have been a very good boy the last couple of days. I am so proud. Daddy and I rode the lawnmower the other night, it was cool. Today I "rode" it all by myself. I am such a big boy. Mommy says so all the time.
05-06-99 Today Mommy took me to my Aunt Rita's shop to get my hair cut. I HATED IT!! And Mommy, she's so mean! I cried and cried while they did that to me and Mommy and my Aunt Julie, they just laughed. But everyone says the new cut is cute. Mommy made me get a bowl cut. They SHAVED part of my head!! I am NEVER gonna do that again. No matter what Mommy says!
05-17-99 Today Mommy took me to her work. She works at a nursing home. One of the residents is a nice man named George, I like him alot. He invited me back to visit today and he shared crackers with me. I walked around and talked up a storm to him. But the ladies kinda scared me. I like men better. All the little ladies crowded around and said how cute I was, but I got very shy and eventually cried. But Mommy picked me up and told me it was okay. I like just visiting George. He let me play with his cane and wear his hat. I talked about DaDa and showed him I can give him five. A dog lives there at the home and she doesn't like kids. I was scared of her barking at first, but then I stood in George's doorway and barked back at her. She didn't like it but I thought it was funny. I had a nice time and George told me to come back soon. I think I will!
05-27-99 Today my Daddy's friend Chris came to stay for the weekend. I like Chris alot, he is my buddy. He is always fun!
05-31-99 Today me and Mommy and Daddy and Chris went to McDonalds for a birthday party. It was my cousin James' birthday. I had so much fun! After we ate and opened presents we all went in to play. I was so excited! I just ran around in circles and squealed for a few minutes. At first I was a little scared to go inside the tubes but Daddy took me in and after that there was no stopping me! Daddy said I can climb like a mountain goat, whatever that is. It was fun! Mommy and Chris even got in and played with me when all the kids left. They are so silly!
07-99 This month I learned to give kisses. Mommy loves it. She is always asking me for kisses and just laughs and laughs when I give them. She is silly. I have learned to say lots of new words the last couple of months, my favorite word being NO. I get in trouble when I tell Mom no sometimes, but I still say it! :)
07 01 99 Mommy and Daddy took me to a place called Miner Mike's. It is a huge kids arcade. It was SO FUN! Mommy and Daddy won me enough tickets to get me a real basketball just my size. I cant wait to go back. Mommy and I rode a little ferris wheel. The cars were shaped like covered wagons. I was only a little scared at first but then I got used to it and had a blast! Mommy said we could go back soon. I can't wait!
07 08 99 We went swimming today at my grandma's house. We went a couple times last week, it was my first time in a big pool, but this time Daddy went with us. It was lots of fun!
07 16 Today I got to meet my other cousins, they are Tyler's half brother and sister. Jennifer and Sammy. They are 14 and 12. I really liked them. They loved me too. We played and Jennifer and Sammy both said I was cute. Of course I am!
07-17 I went to spend the night at my MoMo Donna's house. My grandpa's kids were there, April and John, I really like them! But Mommy took me to Aunt Julie's first to see Jenn and Sammy and Tyler again. I got to ride a horse!!! It was fun! Mommy thought I would be scared, but I am a BIG boy!! Mommy rode the horse first and then Aunt Julie put me up there with her and walked us around for a while. I thought it was so fun! When I had to get off I was saying oh yeah oh yeah!! Mommy also found out I have a new skill. I can swing in a big boy swing by myself. All Mommy had to do was give me a push to get me started and I can do the rest by myself!!! Mommy thinks I am so smart to be able to do it so soon, but it is easy and I don't know why all kids don't do it!
07-18 Today I went to my cousin Tyler's birthday party. It was fun. We ate pizza and cake and I got blue icing all over me. Tyler got a big Jeep for a present, I can't wait for him to take me for a ride!
07-23 Jennifer and Sammy are going back home tomorrow. I will miss them alot. Mommy will too. So tonight we went to see them before they had to go back. Tyler took me for a ride in his Jeep. I didn't want to get out. Jenn and Sammy played with me and Mom took lots of pictures. I sure hope they can come back at Christmas or next summer. I love them alot and miss them a bunch.
