The GOP was launching attacks at John Kerry in March for claiming that he had met foreign leaders who secretly endorsed his Presidential bid.. Since foreign leaders are forbidden to take part in America’s electoral process, this claim ranked slightly above convicted felon endorsements on the relevance chart, but it no doubt caused Terry McAuliffe to defecate on himself.. Despite the fact that John Kerry’s claim was both desperate and irrelevant, Republican opposition demanded that he offer proof of any such foreign endorsements… and when he refused to provide further clues as to who might prefer him to George W. Bush, they called him a liar.. Luckily for John Kerry, former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad came to his aid by announcing that he supported John Kerry’s Presidency.. According to Mahathir Mohamad, a Kerry President would “…keep the world safer…” This endorsement preserved Kerry’s credibility, at least momentarily, but it also added weight to my previous assumption that the foreign leaders that Kerry was referring to were brutal dictators and Islamic zealots.. For those of you who aren’t up to speed on your Malaysian politics, (as I am) Mahathir Mohamad is an avowed anti-Semite.. Let’s face it… when Kerry refused to specify which leaders liked him, it wasn’t because he had lied about it… it was because most of them hate America.. Take for example Moammar Gadahfi.. He just recently agreed to destroy all of his WMDs, and unlike Saddam Hussein, he actually had some.. One could argue that he agreed to do this because he really appreciates the strong leadership qualities of Bush, or a more likely scenario is that he feels threatened by it… in which case I would bet that Gadahfi might yearn for the “more reasonable” Clinton years once more… or maybe John Kerry.. I know that Kerry probably didn’t agree with everything the Clinton Administration did, but he did support the bombing of Iraq without smoking gun evidence… and he also supported giving North Korea $6 Billion to build nuclear reactors, so long as they didn’t develop nuclear weapons.. I think Kim Jong Il owes John Kerry a $6 Billion favor.. And while it’s not an official endorsement of Kerry, the “Anybody But Bush” bumper sticker on Kim Jong Il’s Amanti leads me to conclude that Bush’s Axis of Evil speech didn’t score our president any points with that crazy Asian.. That brings us to Fidel Castro.. Honestly, I don’t think Castro gives a flying fuck who America’s President is, but Danny Glover, Steven Spielberg, and Oliver Stone all seem pretty fond of John Kerry, so it’s practically the same thing.. When you go to the polls this November, keep in mind that a vote for John Kerry is a vote for Moammar Ghadafi, Kim Jong Il, Fidel Castro, and probably the rest of the anti-Semites associated with the United Nations..
