Part 2

As Buffy awoke the next day, she slowly eased out of bed. The pain in her heart was unbearable. She walked over to her window and stared as the sun peaked it's head out from over the trees.

"I have to move on, Angel's gone and I can no longer wish and dream about him." She thought to herself.

She marched over to her closet and prepared herself to look more alive and happy. Throwing aside the drab black and dark blue clothing, and made way for pinks, purples and greens.

When she was dressed and ready she walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. She noticed that her mother had already left for the gallery and had prepared her breakfast, as soon as she was finished she left for school.

She walked slowly, lost in thought , to the library. When she heard her name being called from down the hall.

"Buffy, wait up!" called Xander.

"Hey, Xander what's up?" she asked.

"Aw, nothing, just another exciting day at Sunnydale High," replied Xander, "Hey ya think that we might actually learn something useful today?"

Buffy smiled in spite of herself, if felt good to do it. She hadn't done it in a long time.

"Doubtful Xander," she said." Very doubtful."

They both continued to walk to the library, where they met Willow and Giles.

"Hi Buffy!" cried Willow.

"Hey Wil." Replied Buffy.

"Hello Buffy, how are you?" asked her Watcher.

"I'm good, I've decided not to dwell on the past." She said, "I'm moving on."

Later that night, she was sitting on her bed thinking, when she heard a knock on her window. She thought "Oh, god no, it's Angel." She stood up and walked over to the window and lifted up her blinds. There stood Spike leather jacket and all.

"What are you doing here?" she demanded.

"Easy luv, just to talk." He answered.

"Please, just to talk, I gotta tell ya Spike you're losing your touch." She said, "But okay, you can come in, but you attack me once and you're ass is out of here."

"Fair enough," he said as he sat down on her bed, "I've got a proposition for you."

"What kind of proposition?" she questioned.

"Well we both want Angel dead, right luv?" he asked, "Well with my help, we can achieve it."

Buffy wasn't too sure if she should believe him. She figured she couldn't lose anything else, it was worth a try.

"And why do you want to help me?" she asked.

"Cause I like you." He said cautiously.

Buffy stared at him, what did he mean? Does he like a Slayer, was that even possible? Spike the worst vampire known, well besides her ex, could like a Slayer and would want to help her.

"What's that suppose to mean." She demanded.

Without warning, Spike quickly jumped off the bed, and grabbed Buffy by the shoulders. And pressed her lips against his. Buffy shocked but fully aware of what he was doing, kissed him back.

What am I doing she thought, I'm kissing Spike. She thought to herself. They finally seperated and stared at each other, amazed at what they had done.

"I thought you couldn't walk." She asked out of breath.

"Uh?" he asked confused.

"Your wheelchair, where is it?" she explained.

"Oh that, well that's a little secret, dear Angelus and Druscilla know nothing about, luv." He said.

"Oh, I see," she said." Well it's late and I have school tomorrow."

"Um, yeah, and I haven't fed yet, so." He said. "I'll be going now."

Spike walked over to the window, when he was half-way out, Buffy called to him.

"So you wanna do this again, tomorrow?" she asked smiling.

Spike smiled and said, "Same place, same time ducks, maybe a little more kissing and less talking."

Buffy smiled as he went out her window. What am I doing? She thought to herself. Well anything's possible
