Being raised a musical family, Brad has been singing for as long as he can rememember. He remembers his first "official" solo at the age of seven at his home church of First Baptist Church, Jackson, Missouri. Many times, Brad and his younger brother, Bryan, would sing with his parents when they were on the road traveling with their southern gospel group, Dedication. Growing up in a Christian environment, Brad saw his need for salvation and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of five.
Brad is currently studying Music Business at Missouri Baptist College in St.Louis, where he is a junior. During the school year, Brad is actively involved with Spirit Wing, Missouri Baptist College's traveling contemporary ensemble, not only as a singer on the vocal line, but also as its assistant musical director. He has been involved with Spirit Wing for over three years. Brad recently has been hired as interim Worship Director and full-time Vocal Coach at Grace Church of St.Louis, an inter-demononational church, effective October 1st. Brad will continue to sing and be a part of Grace Church's praise and worship team as a vocalist, which he began in May of 1997.
Brad, at the age of 19, spent a short time in the summer of 1996 touring full-time with the nationally recognized contemporary christian group, Truth. He decided that going back to school to finish his degree was the more practical thing to do at that time, so he left Truth to return to school. Brad also is an avid songwriter and is currently penning some brand new songs for Closer's upcoming demo release.
And yes, Brad and Bryan are brothers! They are about nineteen months apart in age. And look out, they have a 12-year old little brother who is an up and coming musician.
