GameCube Drops to $99.99!
According to an official press release found on Nintendo of America's website, the company has made the decision to drop the price of the system to an MSRP of $99.99 (US dollars). This major price drop for consumers could mean a lot more gamers can look forward to something special for the upcoming holiday season!
Gamers who manage to snatch up the cheaper GC can look forward to the upcoming release of Mario Kart: Double Dash (Nov. 17) which will come with a free bonus disc packed with game footage and apparently, playable demos. Kirby Air Ride (Oct. 13), Mario Party 5 (Nov. 11), 1080 Avalanche (Dec. 1), and Pokémon Channel (Dec.1). And those who can hold out until the New Year will get to experience the highly-anticipated return of Squaresoft to the Nintendo publisher line up with the release of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles.
With a price this low and a game library that will stand at over 320 by the end of the year, how can anyone pass up getting a GameCube? Come on! You know you want to! *sigh* I already have a GC so I won't be able to take advantage of this deal. If only I could have waited one more year! ARRRGH!
