Terrifying Tracts from True Christians

The following are complete transcripts of actual tracts (those little annoying religious pamplets handed out by those little annoying religious people) that yours truly, the Deathbringer herself, collected on this most recent Halloween night in Salem, Massachusetts. Some are funny; some try oh so hard to be cleverly persuasive that it's sad. Take a look.

DEATH

WHAT IF YOU DIED TODAY! Even while reading this tract, you could be having a slight pain in your chest or head, but WITHIN A FEW HOURS, YOU WILL BE DEAD of a heart attack or brain hemorrhage. But you're thinking, "That'll never happen to me."

"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." James 4:14.

You might be in good health, but ON YOUR WAY HOME TONIGHT YOU WILL BE KILLED in a car accident. Remember how shocked ou were the last time you heard about someone you knew that was killed in a wreck? They never thought that death would come so suddenly to them, did they? Maybe THESE WILL BE THE LAST WORDS THAT YOU WILL EVER READ!

YOU CAN'T ESCAPE DEATH!

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement:" Hebrews 9:27.

Now maybe you're thinking: "If I would die today, I'm ready to go; after all, I've never done anything really bad. I don't believe that a merciful God would send me to hell."

"FOR ALL HAVE SINNED, AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD;" Romans 3:23. "FOR THE WAGE OF SIN IS DEATH;" Romans 6:23a. "BUT THE FEARFUL, AND UNBELIEVING, AND THE ABOMINABLE, AND MURDERES, AND WHOREMONGERS, AND SORCERERS, AND IDOLATERS, AND ALL LIARS, SHALL HAVE THEIR PART IN THE LAKE WHICH BURNETH WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE; WHICH IS THE SECOND DEATH." Revelation 21:8.

According to God's Word, no matter how good you are, YOU DESERVE TO BURN IN THE LAKE OF FIRE FOR EVER AND EVER!

BUT...GOD HAS GIVEN YOU A SAVIOUR!

"...BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD." Romans 6:23b. "FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE." John 3:16.

Now stop a second, and read that last verse again. How does the Bible say that you get everlasting life? NOT BY TRUSTING IN SOME CHURCH OR SAINT!

"NEITHER IS THERE SALVATION IN ANY OTHER; FOR THERE IS NONE OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN, WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED." Acts 4:12.

NOT BY DOING GOOD WORKS!

"FOR BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH; AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES; IT IS THE GIRFT OF GOD: NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST." Ephesians 2:8-9.

YOU GET EVERLASTING LIFE BY COMPLETELY TRUSTING JESUS. The Bible proves this in John 3:18 and John 3:36.

Listen, why don't you just admit to God that you are a hell-bound sinner. That you are willing to turn from your sinful life, and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal saviour. If you will do that right now you can know for sure that you have eternal life.

"THESE THINGS I HAVE WRITTEN UNTO YOU THAT I BELIEVE ON THE NAME OF THE SON OF GOD." I John 5:13. "FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED." Romans 10:13.

Do it now, don't put it off another minute! THIS IS NOT BY COINCIDENCE THAT YOU ARE READING THIS TRACT. God planned it for you and not somebody else. This could be your LAST WARNING!

WILL YOU ACCEPT JESUS? Jesus, I now admit that I am a sinner, going to hell, and need YOU as my SAVIOUR. I now cease to rely on MYSELF, MY church, MY religion, or anything else I might do. I now, with YOUR help will turn from the sinful life I now lead. I NOW ACCEPT YOU as MY saviour. I now put MY faith in the BLOOD that you shed on the cross to pay for all MY sin and to keep ME from going to hell. Thank You LORD JESUS.

Remember that salvation does not depend on feelings or an emotional experience. It is based on what GOD HAS PROMISED IN HIS WORD.

"FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED." Romans 10:13.

WILL YOU ACCEPT JESUS?

"...HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, BECAUSE HE HATH NOT BELIEVED IN THE NAME OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD." John 3:18b.

THE BURNING HELL

Jesus Christ believed in a BURNING HELL, that is why He left the Father's bosom and came into this world of sorrow. He left the streets of gold and the rejoicing of angels, to come to this earth to be crucified, so that you and I could escape THE BURNING HELL.

In Luke 16:23 & 24 the Bible says, "AND IN HELL HE LIFT UP HIS EYES, BEING IN TORMENTS, AND SEETH ABRAHAM AFAR OFF, AND LAZARUS IN HIS BOSOM, AND HE CRIED AND SAID, FATHER ABRAHAM, HAVE MERCY ON ME, AND SEND LAZARUS, THAT HE MAY DIP THE TIP OF HIS FINGER IN WATER, AND COOL MY TONGUE; FOR I AM TORMENTED IN THIS FLAME." The Bible says in MARK 8:36, "FOR WHAT SHALL IT PROFIT A MAN, IF HE SHALL GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD, AND LOSE HIS OWN SOUL?"

One day in HELL, you will not have to be bothered by some Christian trying to give you a gospel tract. Neither will you have to worry about a soul winner knocking on your door and inviting you to go to church. No sir, but you will be remembering every gospel sermon you ever heard, every gospel tract that you turned down or tore up, each kind word from a mother, preacher, or Christian friend pleading with you to be saved. You too, will one day be like the rich man you just read about in LUKE 16. You will be crying, and begging for one drop of water to cool your scorching tongue. But it will be too late!

The Bible says in MATTHEW 23:23; "YE SERPENTS, YE GENERATION OF VIPERS, HOW CAN YE ESCAPE THE DAMNATION OF HELL?"

How about it, Friend, is HELL the place where you want to spend eternity?

The Bible says in PSALM 9:17; "THE WICKED SHALL BE TURNED INTO HELL, AND ALL THE NATIONS THAT FORGOT GOD." In MATTHEW 25:41 The Bible says;"...DEPART FROM ME, YE CURSED, INTO EVERLASTING FIRE, PREPARED FOR THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS."

You see HELL was originally prepared for the Devil and his angels. But if you die wicked and cursed, by not being saved, you will be there with them!

My Friend, dont' let anyone convince you that when you die it will be all over.

The Bible says in HEBREWS 9:27; "AND AS IT IS APPOINTED UNTO MEN ONCE TO DIE, BUT AFTER THIS THE JUDGEMENT:"

God says judgement follows your death, so NOW is the time to get ready to meet him, because Judgement Day could be TODAY.

The Bible says in REVELATION 20:15; "AND WHOSOEVER WAS NOT FOUND WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE WAS CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE."

My Friend, I beg you in the name of Jesus, to turn from your sinful, wicked ways and claim a new life with Jesus Christ. One say I too was traveling down the road that led to a BURNING HELL. I thought to myself, "There must be a better way." Well I trusted my heart and soul to Jesus Christ, now I can claim this verse from the Bible for my life; II CORINTHIANS 5:17 "THEREFORE IF ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATURE: OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY; BEHOLD, ALL THINGS BECOME NEW." Thank you, Jesus!

HEAVEN OR HELL? You do the choosing. If you are lost, and would like to get your name written in God's Book of Life, so you can miss the BURNING HELL, simply trust Him now, and pray "Lord Jesus forgive me of my sins, come into my heart this moment and save me, Amen."
