THE LAST PART OF MY HOMEPAGE, I AM RESERVING TO MAKE A PLEA FOR INFORMATION ON TWO MISSING PARTS OF MY LIFE. PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THIS. YOU MIGHT KNOW THESE PEOPLE. After my wonderful Mother passed away in 1991, I found out she had a son I never knew anything about! Pride kept her from telling me (or anyone, except my Father?), about this child. Due to her dire financial situation at the time of his birth, she had to put the child up for adoption. I would very much like to find this person, if only to let him know what a kind and loving woman his birth mother was. I know now that she never forgot him. When my first son was born, she kept insisting what a good name David was. So, I named my son Michael David. Now I know that she had named her son David, before she had to let him go. The only other information I have is that he was born between 1943-1945, probably in Phelps Co., Mo.. I believe it may be possible the family who adopted him may have lived in St. Clair, MO. My mother's name was Alleene Noel (Hance) Orr. If anyone has any leads to this person, I would deeply appreciate an Unfortunately, David is not the only missing heartlink I have. My eldest brother, Warner DeVal Orr, has been missing since 1968. He had been in the Air Force, stationed at Lackland Air Base, in San Antonio, Texas. He was divorced, with two daughters. The last time he was seen was in Rolla, Mo. He came into town on the bus, called and asked me to take him to visit his girls. After seeing them and also our Mother, I took him back to the bus-station. About a month later, he called from somewhere back east,(possibly Maine) needing money. I wired it to him, and that was the last anyone has heard of him. His date of birth is April 1941. He is (or was) about 6'2", extremely thin, with black hair. Loved motorcycles, smoked and was very artistic. If you have any information on Warner DeVal ORR, (or De, as he was known), kaysie13@mycitycable.com I do not know if he is even alive, since he has not contacted the family in so many years, even at the time of his Mothers death. But there is that little part of me that keeps hoping. His daughters, of course, are grown, and he has two grandsons. I miss him, and would like to have some closure to this mystery. I will close and pray there is someone out there who has even some little clue for me. Thank you for listening!! Warner DeVal Orr HOME |
