The purpose of this project is to demonstrate the effectiveness of using hyperlinks and multimedia to help the reader better understand certain concepts, especially in poems which contain quite a bit of classical allusion.
Please take advantage of the hyperlinked text. The bolded links will refer back to the poem (lines, quotes, etc.) or to other pages on this site and the plain links will open existing web sites in new windows containing more detailed information on a subject. The reason for this is to give the reader a chance to gain a better insight of what was is implied in the poem; being able to understanding the context which is being referred to will promote a greater understanding of the poem as a whole.
