Jacob Culp

Jacob Culp  was born in Pennsylvania about 1786.  His wife, Mary, was born about 1795 in Pennsylvania.  They were in Dearborn County, Indiana by 1830 where their daughter was born.  They were in Adams County, Illinois in 1850.

Among the children of Jacob Culp was Benjamin Dennis, Isabella Culp (1830), Maria (1834), Prucilla (1836), Sally, and Diana.

Benjamin Dennis Culp married Patty Van Dusen.

The children of Benjamin Dennis and Patty (Van Dusen) Culp were:  Cynthia, Daniel Van, Robert, Polly, Chloe, Mahalia, Shelton, Nancy Tyner, Zilpha Aleys, and Melissa.


Isabella Culp was born in 1830 in Dearborn County, Indiana.  She married Peter Moulin in 1850 probably in Adams County, Illinois.  They went to Missouri about 1857.  They were in the Daviess County, Missouri censuses in 1860, 1870, and 1880.  She died in 1914 and is buried in the Hill Cemetery, Daviesss County, Missouri.

The children of Peter and Isabella (Culp) Moulin are:  Anderson (1852), Louie (1854), Mary (1856), Martha (1858), Sylvia (1860), Lura Alice (1862), Johnnie Francis (1864), Sylvester P. (1867), Charley (1869), and Emera Lawrence (1871).


Maria Culp was born 1834 in Dearborn County, Indiana.  She married Franklin Tourney about 1851 in Adams County, Illinois.

The children of Franklin and Maria (Culp) Tourney were:  Marshalette, John Baptiste, and Sarah Melissa.


Prucilla Culp was born about 1836 in Indiana.
