Palmer

A Mr. Palmer married Fanny (1786 Va - 1861 Mo).  They would have lived in SC and Johnson County, Indiana, where their children were born.  In 1850 Fanny was living with her son Joshua in Owen County, Indiana. In 1860 Fanny was living with her son, William Henry, in Sullivan County, Missouri.

Some of the Palmer children were:  Elihu (1805), a son, Fanny, William Henry(1825), and Joshua (1828).

Elihu Palmer was born in 1805 in South Carolina.  He married Amy Armstrong in 1830.  He died in 1875 and is buried in the Schrock Cemetery, Sullivan County, Missouri.

The children of Elihu and Amy (Armstrong) Palmer were:  James Morrow (1832), Elizabeth (1839), Amy (1842), Henry Clay (1844), Nancy (1847), Mary (1849), William Elihu (1851), and John Runion (1857).



son Palmer was believed to have married Nancy probably Blevins.

The children of Nancy Palmer were:  Sophia (1847), Benton (1849), Benjamin P. (1852), Sarah J. (1855), and Hiram T. (1856).



Fanny Palmer married Joe Hicks.


William Henry Palmer was born about 1835 in Johnson County, Indiana.  He married first Charlotta. They were living in Owen County, Indiana in 1850. He married second Prudence Jane Tate in 1853 in Coles County, Illinois.  They were living in Sullivan County, Missouri, in 1860.  He died on board the streamer South Decatur at the mouth of the White River, Arkansas in 1865 returning home from the Civil War.

The children of William Henry and Charlotta Palmer were:  Amanda Emma (1845) and Joshua E. (1847).

The children of William Henry and Prudence Jane (Tate) Palmer were:  Rosaltha (1856), Eliza Melinda (1859), Amy Lutitua (1861), and Mary (1864).



Joshua Palmer was born in 1828 in Indiana. He married Zilla Ann.  He died in 1895 and is buried in the Schrock Cemetery, Sullivan County, Missouri.

The children of Joshua and Zilla Ann Palmer were:  Frances (1849), William A. (1846), Melinda E. (1855), Sarah M. (1857), Mary A. (1862), Josephine C. (1864), James L. (1866), and Joseph M. (1868).
