he city of love as most call it. My trip to Paris was a surprise indeed. Nico's parents go almost every year and thought it would be special to take the both of us along. Especially since it would be my first time in Europe.
Unfortunately, this was the only good picture I could find at EuroDisney. It was quite cold that day and most of my pictures were blurred because I couldn't keep my hands still. We still rode the rides despite the cold. Nico and I had a great time! It even snowed a bit..
Behind Nico and I is the Sacre Coeur. It's a famous church in Paris and it's used quite often in movies because of its beautiful architecture. A high staircase can get you to the church or you can take the lift which will cost you a subway ticket. We took the lift up, but we walked down.
This was one of a few "living statues" around the Sacre Coeur. This one is a bit more obvious. Most of them usually wrap themselves in white as well as paint their faces white. At their feet lay a small box for coins. If you pay a "living statue", he/she will move showing their gratitude.
This is the entrance to the Louvre. Even if you don't go inside, the outside of the building is spectacular enough.
Always at least one Kodak moment on vacation! After all those pics that Nico's mom had taken of us, I persuaded them to pose for me! You can tell Nico and his father are related because they sat the same way.. hehe
This is the famous pyramid in the Louvre that was designed by an American architect. The pyramid is used for letting tourists into the actual museum. If you look to the left of the pyramid, you'll notice the long line to get inside. We didn't bother.. Most were just there to see the Mona Lisa..
That brings the Paris trip to an end. Overall, it was a nice place to visit, but after seeing the dozens of homeless ppl; some old, some looked like college students, and just how dirty some of the streets were.. I don't think I would like to live there..
