Moses describes God's loving care of His people in Deuteronomy and Zechariah the prophet declared: " For thus saith the Lord of hosts. " there are three expressions in the Old Testament translated: " apple of the eye. "
This describes a beautiful figure and picture of Israel because it speaks of, first, that which is so precious. God has set His love on Israel and they are very precious to Him. Moses told them in the wilderness: DEUTERONOMY 7:7 " The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; "V:8 " But because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Phar-aoh king of E'-gypt. Remember, God's hand of protection is upon Israel as a nation, and He will not suffer them to cease as a people. ( Read Jeremiah 31:35-37 ) What could be more forceful than these words to assure us that God is determined to protect Israel, as a man zealously and carefully protects the very apple of his eye, his vision ? When a mans eye pupil has been injured, he feels intense pain. And this pain can be so great that he becomes sick. thus to injure Israel is to cause God intense pain. ( Read Isaiah 63:9 ) and ( Isaiah 52:5 ) FOLK'S, we must not forget the he who touchs Israel for ill, will not go unpunished. Nations as well as individuals have proved the truth of this. On the other hand, we must also know that he who does good for and to Israel, will not go un-rewarded. ( Read Matthew 25:40 )
Israel is unquestionably coming and more into the spotlight of world events. If we read the prophetic Scriptures aright, this trend is due to increase rapidly as the world nears its fateful and cataclysmic denovement. We as Christians and God fearing, views the people of Israel drawn more and more into the very vortex of global affairs, and we may be assured that the hour of the church's redemption draws near. If we will take the time and study the word of God as His timepiece, we will know where we are in God's dealings and how we are to conduct ourselves to'ward Israel in these last days of a fast dying age.
May the triune God, who loves Israel with a everlasting love, be magnified through this web page, and may the Holy Spirit of God lead souls to the Saviour, Jesus Christ through the renewed vision and zeal of many dedicated children of God. Palms 122:6 " Pray for the peace of Je-ru'sa-lem: they shall prosper that love thee. "V:7 " Peace be within thy walls, . . . ."

FACTS: First, God needed Israel - and these are the reasons Israel means so much to God - to witness to the unity of God. To us in the twenty first century this may appear but a small or unnecessary task for a nation, but it serves only to show how far we are removed from the times and conditions of patriarchs. At the time of Abraham, or even later in the time of the Kings of Israel and Judah, witnessing to the unity of God was not analogous to carrying to Newcastle. Even today, where the truth of monotheism has long held its place in the minds of men, there is a need of witnessing to the unity of the Living God in view of the countless heathen who are worshiping their gods. But even in so-called enlightened countries there is a crying need to stress the one true God, when one is informed that in their chapels of France and churchs and sanctuarys of America today men are worshiping Satan, the opposer of God. Here in America we have also a group called: American Association for the Advancement of Atheism.
But Israel, although many have been their departures from God, have always testified to this calling of theirs. to this day the national motto of Israel is: " Hear, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah. " They have kept in mind the words of Isaiah: " Chapter 43:10-11. " This passage certainly reveals two facts: " Israel is God's wordly witness and the witness is to the person of God. Israel was meant not only to witness to the unity of God, but they were intended by God to show the blessedness of serving God. Even when they spent forty years of wandering in the wilderness, the area pictured as the background on this web page. As long as Israel remained in the path of God's will and served Him, they were an example to all the sur-rounding nations and to us of how God will bless such actions. When God wanted to show how He could bless those who serve Him, He took the nation Israel to exibit it on a national scale. The nation had explicit instructions for the preservation of the words of God: " Deuteronomy 6:3-15. " I do not argue that Israel has been always obedient to the Word, but even during the times of her dis-obedience, she manifested how capable the Scriptures are to sustaining. As noted by: " Romans 3"1-11. " Here Paul remembered and concidered this one advantage of this, to this nation.
