" PRECIOUS MEMORIES "

~ COMPLIMENTS OF PASTOR BILL ~

THIS PAGE IS DEDICATED TO THE PRECIOUS MEMORIES OF OUR LOVED ONES
" GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN "

JESUS SAID: JOHN 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

PROVERBS 10:7 "THE MEMORY OF THE JUST IS BLESSED:..... "

PSALMS 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, V:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. V:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. V:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. V:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? V:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. V:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. V:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

1 THESSALONIANS 4:13 But I would not have you ignorant, brethren,concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. V:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

REVELATION 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea,saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.

~ ~ ~ GOING HOME ~ ~ ~

~ by Paul Durham ~
I have sweet assurance of a home above with God,
Overflows within my heart His peace and Grace each step I trod.
Here on earth I'm but a pilgrim, but a soldier for my Lord,
Knowing when my course is ended, Jordan's tide I'll gently ford.
With His promise, my passage, and His Presence for my guide,
'Twon't be long to reach rejoicing, in that throng on Heaven's side.
You can have the same assurance just trusting Christ, naught more,
Faith will keep the road, Salvation bring you safe to Dawning's shore.
Their Journey Is Just Begun

Don't think of them as gone away,
 their journey has just begun.
 Life holds so many facets,
 this earth is only one.

Just think of them as resting
 from the sorrows and the tears,
 in a place of warmth and comfort,
 where there are no days and years.

Think of how they must be wishing
 that we could know, today,
 how nothing but our sadness
 can really pass away.

And think of them as living
 in the hearts of those they touched
 for nothing loved is ever lost
 and they were loved so much.

~ ~ ~ TO MY LOVING FAMILY AND FRIENDS ~ ~ ~

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free.
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took God's hand when I heard the call;
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day.
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found that place at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss.
Oh yes these things I too, will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, God set me free !!!!!

~ ~ ~ AS TIME GOES BY ~ ~ ~

When the time comes my way, and I'm getting old and grey, I pray that there will be folk's who will always remember me, Lord as I gave them a loving smile, that told them " I LOVED THEM " and would go the extra mile.

And dear Lord, please remember me, as one who tried to give back to this old world more than most of us folks could afford, but did it any way because it was in your accord.

Most folk's today would ask, " Why would anybody do such a thing ? " Well it's very plain to see, folk's , it's because my Saviour has given so much to me.

He gave me a smile to share with others, and lots of Sisters and Brothers. A great life and a family full of love, fun and joy. Girls to show my talents too, and Boy's to tell my life's stories of growing up.

A good husband and a great friend, that I know will be by my side and know our love is one that will last til the end !

And yes ! Folk's, you got that right, I'm getting old and gray and not to good of sight. But dear one's, remember me when I was young and strong. I never thought for a moment about old age and all of the things that could go wrong.

But folk's, hear me now ! Don't fret because for you there is still a lot of time and much that needs be done, win souls for God's Glory, and never get to old to tell others of your story. How a Saviour saved you, with all of His Glory !

Now in these days that lay ahead, only God knows what is in store and when He comes " Knocking " I'll be ready at the door ! Through all of this, ny husband and I will continue our walk together with Him in this old earth, thanking " Dear Jesus " for our new birth ! And as we hold one another's hand and share our earthly love one for another, we realize the end is near and we have nothing to fear !

And so " DEAR ONE'S, when this old life is over, and we gather on that golden shore. There we will be holding hands again for ever more.

" I'LL SEE YOU ALL IN THE MORNING, RITA ! "

TRUE LOVE WILL NEVER DIE

Born April 13, 1949

IN MEMORY OF MY BELOVED SON IN LAW AND DAUGHTER ANITA MARIE'S HUSBAND,
ROBERT KEITH ALLEN WHO WENT TO BE WITH THE LORD ON MARCH 15, 2004

~ ~ ~ FROM MY LOVING WIFE,ANITA MARIE,FAMILY AND FRIENDS ~ ~ ~

God looked around in His garden, And He found and empty place; And then he looked down upon this earth, An saw your tired face
He put His arms around you, and lifted you to rest;
God's garden must be beautiful, He always take the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain;
He knew that you would never get, well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb;
So He closed your weary eyelids, and whispered, " Peace be thine. "
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone;
For part of us went with you,
THE DAY GOD CALLED YOU HOME !

The badge doesn’t shine quite so bright today. It’s lost some of its luster.
Oh so many years it was worn with honor, pride and integrity. The edges rounded from use, but never tarnished.

The many things it must have seen through the years, some good, a lot of bad, but always held up with the courage, strength and knowledge brought by experience.
Pinned on day after day upon a tremendously good heart, a strong soul and a tender spirit.

You could see the badge coming from across the yard with that familiar gait, that beautiful head of carefully placed hair, a twinkle in those eyes and a mischievous grin for a smile.
He made us all stand a little taller. Not enough words to say that the badge just doesn’t shine quite so bright today.
