Reviews by Friends For L.I.F.E.

At L.I.F.E. Academy we think reading is fun and educational. We read to learn and find things out. We read to exercise our imaginations. Mostly, though, we read because we love to read!

We have made friends all over the United States and the world, and we have found that many of them like to read just like we do! We would like you to meet some of our friends and learn about some of the books they have read.

If you would like to have a book review included here, please send us an e-mail and we will tell you how to get started!

Meet Our Friends

Malea Henson--Hi.. I'm Malea Henson. I enjoy all kinds of rhyming books.

Messy Tessie is one of my favorite characters. You can meet her in the books entitled, "Messie Tessie Takes a Bath" and "Messy Tessie Has a Tea Party."

If you like getting messy and you hate taking time out for a bath or you really enjoy tea parties, you should like these books. Or even if you are a Mom or Dad and you have an energetic, messy, fun-loving kid, you might just like these books also. And what would life be like without a little mess to spark some joy and excitement in our lives. : < )

Why not find out today how much you and Tessie have in common?

Messie Tessie is written by Julie Brown and illustrated by Brad Steventon. My family and I got to meet Brad Steventon because my big sister Misty just wrote a book that was published by the same company that makes Messie Tessie books! Brad is a very nice artist who has shown me some of his techniques. He did a great job with the illustrations in Messie Tessie.

You can order Messie Tessie books of your own from "Otter Creek Publishing."

Patric Henson--Hi I'm Patric Henson, 10 years old, and I just read a great book called "Jeremiah In the Dark Woods" by Janet and Allan Alberg.

This is a great book that is a blend of different fables such as the queens tarts story, and the Goldilocks story, and the three bears and so on!

So blast off with Jeremiah Obadiah Jackanary Jones and hop down to your local library and ask someone who works there for "Jeremiah In the Dark Woods" by Janet and Allan Alberg.

Hope you enjoy it!!
