Today we are going to learn bunnyhops, One of the required tricks for street, and for any style of riding it can improve your skills. Lets start out with some basic bunnyhopping. First ride standing but with your knees slightly bent. Now throw your wieght back and upward, then an instance later when your bike is aproximatly at a 50 degree angle or so lunge upward and forward. Now tuck your knees into your chest while pulling the back end of your bike up using your lower body, also by pointing your toes to the ground a little. Now come down and land on either your back tire or both, hopefully not your front, i prefer landing on both. Now that you have that mastered its time to go onward and upward. Make your bike as light as possible, i noticed that i do better when my handlebars are strait up or slightly forward. If your having trouble with the action try to pull it off of 1 inch to 2inch bumps, which that helps you with your front end, learn to do no brake or foot rolling endos very well, if you have trouble pulling up your front end then push off of your hanle bars before you lean back. So have fun with the bunnyhop, which can be used with grinds, gaps, and getting onto and over things and much much more.
