NOBEL: OBITUARY BELLE FISHER

Mrs. Belle M. Fisher, 73, died suddenly Sunday August 23, 1970, in a Garland, TX. Hospital after a heart attack. She was visiting a granddaughter and family. She had also been visiting her son, Robert, and family in San Antonio, TX.

She was born in Ironton, August 30, 1896 and was the daughter of Arthur Nobel and Ida M. Mathews.

She was married to William F. Fisher on Oct. 10, 1915. They resided in Cazenovia for 24 years. To this union were born three children, William George, Robert William and Genevieve Rose.

She was employed and lived for several years at Wisconsin Dells, where she was a member of the Bethany Lutheran church.

After retiring from her work at Wisconsin Dells she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Walter Mortimer and family, Ironton. She attended the United Methodist church.

Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Ironton Eastern Star, LaValle Royal Neighbors, the Ironton card club, Ironton Shadyhill homemakers, and the Wisconsin Dells Legion auxiliary. As a member of the auxiliary, she ushered at the Indian ceremonials.

Surviving are a son, Robert, San Antonio, TX; a daughter, Mrs. Walter Mortimer, Ironton; and 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
