--- MotorMarks "Chilly Dog 99" Pics ---

The "Chilly Dog" was December 27th at Talladega National Forest in Alabama.
It lived up to it's billing, it was right around freezing that morning.
A couple of bikes had trouble getting started due to cold and weak batteries, including mine. But thanks to Ernie, everybody was on their way.






The first set of trails were quite a workout, and I worked up a sweat with Hein Gericke jacket and pants I was wearing. I didnt get any pics while on that trail, but I wish I had. There are some really good trails there.







Below is how to make an oil plug out of a stick and some tape.



After we rode back to the camping area, we built a fire.
And again Ernie came through with the hot dogs and chilly. It's a good thing we ate the chilly dogs after riding the Chilly Dog.
I'm looking foreward to going back there someday. But next time, I'll have knobbier tires.
