The New Testament of Jesus Christ testifies that the Lord's Supper, also called Communion and the Last Supper needs to be done on some regular basis. You do this in order to show the Lords Death until He comes again. To get the most clarity on the matter, you turn to the book of Luke, where it shows that 'as oft ye do this, do this in remembrance of me until I come again'. This is especially important because the 'oft' signifies that it does not have to be done every week or every day, but it signifies more, 'as often as you are able to do it'. You may not be able to get to Church or your spiritual gathering sometimes because of the Flu, or work, or some other complication. Jesus, understands that, so long as when you are able to meet in His name you make sure you do.
