Joshua Osborn

1776 - At 17 he enlisted for service in the Revolution, 8 months under Capt. John Lewis and Col. Douglas.
1777 - Enlisted for 3 years under Capt. Theophilus Munson and Cols. Chandler and Isaac Sherman.
1777-78 - Wintered in Valley Forge.
Participated in the battles of Long Island, Harlem Heights, White Plains, Germantown and Monmouth.
1778-79 - (Winter) Quartered in Conn., Village on the Hudson.
1781 - Paid a L33 tax in Waterbury, Connecticut.
1790 - Census lived in Derby, New Haven Co., Connecticut.
1806 - Selectman in Colebrook, Connecticut.
1809 - Moved to Southington, Ohio.
