Christmas
comes
but
once
a year,
To
build
our
hope
and
dry
our
tears;
In
a manger
was
born
the
light,
Our
Savior
was
born
on
this
night.
Trees
and
wreaths
and
the
candles'
glow,
Are
only
there
to
let
us
know;
Jesus
was
born
to
peasants
poor,
And
we
need
to
open
our
door.
The
door
of
our
hearts
should
open
wide,
For,
in
our
hearts,
He
will
reside;
The
child
of
Christmas
saved
us
all,
The
big
and
small,
the
short
and
tall.
Christmas
is
for
girls
and
boys,
And
it
fills
my
heart
with
such
joy;
This
child
has
done
so
much
for
me,
How
can
I not
be
filled
with
glee.
So
put up your tree filled
with
lights,
Light
your
candles on this night;
Share
your gifts with friends you
love,
And
give glory to the Son above.
