Answer the Call

The Lord will guide you always,
That's my motto for this year;
Whether it's a day of laughter,
Or a day filled with tears.

God is always with me,
Be it day or through the night;
He leads me where He wants me,
I have no need of fright.

Jesus loves me,
This I very well know;
He loves me when I laugh,
And comforts me in woe.

I just don't understand,
Why so many turn their backs;
I guess they don't realize,
What their lives lack.

Jesus gives me strength,
When life becomes hard;
Jesus gives me needed comfort,
When my heart is in shards.

But, most of all, my Lord,
He forgives our every sin;
If only we will confess,
And always come to Him.

Jesus loves every one of us,
Be we short or tall;
He can forgive every sin,
So please answer His call.
