At the end of the day,
When life has slowed;
I unburden my mind,
I give Jesus my load.
At the end of the day,
When darkness sets in;
Then I must be on guard,
And not let the devil enter in.
At the end of the day,
When all are asleep;
That is when sorrow creeps in,
And that is when I weep.
But my Jesus is with me,
He holds me so tight;
He gives me His comfort,
And I make it through the night.
At the end of the day,
I know right where to be;
With my Lord and my Savior,
So His love I can see.
