Little
Miss Becky, tiny and small,
Isn't very big...isn't very tall;
Little Miss Becky, sweet and cute,
Has quite a little attitude.
She's a sprite as you'll see,
Bubbie is her heart's glee;
Big brother has made her slightly tough;
But she's never really rough.
But never lose her blankie, old,
Though dirty and tattered, it's her gold;
It gives this child peace of mind,
Now isn't that a glorious find.
Becky will grow to be real fine,
I can already see the sign;
No one will walk on her heart pure,
Her mom's in her, that's for sure.
She's Daddy's girl, he's her guy,
And yet I have to ask you why;
The Lord has made her so strong,
Is life to treat her very wrong?
I want to see her laugh and smile,
And enjoy this life she has a while;
I want her childhood days to last,
And not go by so very fast.
Becky Jean's no angel, that's true,
She'll worm her way into the heart of you;
If you can win Becky Jean's love,
You've received a gift from above
