There are a lot of beginnings,
As we travel through this life;
They start the day we are born,
And come through happiness and strife.

We begin to walk as a toddler,
We begin school as a child;
We begin to date as a teen,
And sometimes begin to be wild.

When we are very young
We begin to learn to pray;
Hopefully we keep it up,
And talk to God each day.

We begin a job as young adults,
It often rules our day;
But then we begin to learn
That there's a better way.
