Not William, but Billy,
That's his name;
He's a good ole boy,
Not looking for fame.

For his two kids,
He's the stay-at-home dad;
It makes his wife,
And his children glad.

He works on cars
During the day;
But guns and hunting,
Fill his time for play.

Billy likes to camp,
And he likes to fish;
He loves good food,
He hasn't a favored dish.

When he met Tessie,
He didn't plan to wed;
But she won his heart,
And warms his bed.

Billy is quite a character,
He is one special guy;
We all have come to love him,
Maybe that explains why.

Billy was my son-in-law but he was more like a son. He was married to my second daughter, Tessie. I could count on Billy to be there when I needed his help. Billy was not monetarily rich nor a scholar but he had a very big heart. Billy made my daughter very happy and I loved him even more for that. Billy was a hunter and a fisherman but, more than that, he was first and foremost a husband and a father. Unfortunately, Billy's journey through time was a short one. We lost Billy to cancer May 9, 2004.
