Blinded
Sight
The glow
of gold can blind a man,
When the debts he holds have tied his hand;
He cannot see the love at home,
Or the security he loses on the roam.
If only
he'd talk to his God above,
A wise decision made out of love;
Would be within his reach to find,
An inner peace entering heart and mind.
But young
he is with blinded sight,
As the gold shines bright on this quiet night;
I hope that love will win the day,
And the two of them will find the way.
During
our lives there's many a door,
And it's up to us to enter or not;
But if wisdom guides us on our way,
The sun will shine on a glorious day.
