Christmas
this year will be a little
different,
The finances are low and
the purse is tight;
But christmas will come with
all its joy,
For, in this house, we celebrate
the night.
Bows, paper and gifts are
not important,
We love the music and candle's
soft glow;
We love the sight of family
and friends,
Pain and adversity cannot
bring us low.
For, on this day, a babe
was born,
In a stable in Bethlehem
Town;
In lowly estate he laid His
head,
To bring us up when we were
down.
We'll sing our joy and ring
the bells,
And light the candle to find
our way;
Our lives are full of God's
holy love,
So we have to jump for joy
this day.
