Down on my knees, I can find peace,
As I talk with God about my day;
Down on my knees, I feel close to Him,
As I search for His will and go His way.

Down on my knees, God shares His gifts,
His promises are found in His Word;
Down on my knees, I am His light,
I absorb the joy many find absurd.

The day can be long and filled with pain,
But I can give it all into His hands;
Down on my knees, I find comfort,
And meditate on His mighty plans.

Down on my knees, I feel His love,
I feel Him giving me His strength;
His love for me I don't understand,
I can't imagine its width or its length.

Down on my knees, I'm close to God,
He fills my dreams, grants my needs;
Down on my knees, I am so thankful,
For His grace, forgiveness, guidance of me.
