The
air is crisp and cool,
As it blows against my face;
I breathe a little bit harder,
As I increase my pace.
I can feel the beat of my heart,
As it pumps my blood with vigor;
My muscles cry out in pain,
As I push them in a new rigor.
But as my body works,
My mind and soul renew;
And I begin to see my life,
With a refreshed and different view.
Life takes on new meaning,
And I'm ready to face the day;
My early morning walk,
Cheers me like no other way.
