My salvation is a gift from above,
Granted to me by a God full of love;
Even with all my faults, He loves me.
He grants me peace and has set me free.

My life and soul belong to Him,
Without Jesus, my life was looking grim;
I need Him every hour of the day,
To lead me, guide me and show me the way.

I receive many a gift from God,
By His generosity I am awed;
He takes care of me day and night,
He helps me try to live my life right.

Jesus suffered and died for me,
From my sins I want to flee;
Someday Jesus will take me home,
And from Him I will never roam.

Yes, I have received a gift from above,
It's the eternal promise of God's love;
When I one day see His face,
I will be glad I finished the race.
