God is in Autumn

God gets out His crayons,
He colors the leaves one by one;
He then picks them from the limbs,
And lets them fall just for fun.

Pumpkins have grown large and orange,
They are ready for the harvest;
The weather starts to cool,
As God gives us the best.

Squirrels are gathering nuts,
In the winter they want to eat;
The birds will fly to the south,
As children look for treats.

Some animals go into hibernation,
As we pull out warm clothes;
Animals get ready for the winter,
And we are among those.

God blesses us in the autumn,
Just as He does all year;
We should all be thankful,
For we have nothing to fear.
