Kings
and presidents rule the
world,
Or
so people think;
But,
the truth of the matter
is,
They're
only on the brink.
The
real rulers of this world,
Are
often very quiet;
They
fight the evil of this world,
With
love and healthy diet.
With
hugs and kisses and words
of love,
Mothers
can make a man or break him;
That's
why on this Mother's Day,
I
pray to God and thank Him.
He
gave me a mother full of love,
To
show me how to live with
glee;
She
taught me how to live life
well,
She
taught me how to fight men's
greed.
She
showed me beauty all around,
In
flowers, plants, moon and
sun;
I've
learned to live every day,
With
a little work and a little
play.
So,
thank you, Mom, for being
here,
Thank
you for the gifts you shared;
And
even though I was often sad,
I've
always known how much you
cared.
