I've traveled to many places,
Seen sights all over this land;
But home is where the heart is,
And it's here I'll make my stand.
I have a home upon this earth,
My heart abides within the walls;
But my soul seeks my future home,
So it can roam its glorious halls.
I love my home here on earth,
It's warm, cozy and filled with love;
But my home with Jesus is inviting,
No pain, no tears and the God above.
Here I have family that makes me smile,
They give me love and make me laugh;
But the many battles of this life,
Tire me as Jesus fights on my behalf.
Yes, home is where the heart is,
And my heart is split in two;
My future home is with my God,
But now I'll share my home with you.
