My Hoosier

My love is a Hoosier,
He makes my heart sing;
He has a way about him,
That fills my life with zing.

He can always make me laugh,
And act like a silly girl;
Ineed someone like him,
To fill my empty world.

He opens doors and carries things,
He likes to hold my hand;
I find all this attention,
To be mighty, mighty grand.

I love the way he teases me,
And calls me a silly billy;
But he also lets me know
He cares about this filly.

I hope that our love grows,
And we become a pair;
Then I can hold and love him,
And keep him in my lair.

The distance is a problem,
I wish that he was near;
But if our love blossoms,
Then he will come here.

Then I can have him by my side,
As we share our days;
And I will love him forever,
In many, many ways.
