 Mothers are an inspiration,
In thought and word and touch;
She never runs out of energy,
And she gives so very much.
You never have to ask her,
The prayers to heaven are sent;
Her love is always with you,
Even when her patience is spent.
She may want to advise you,
She may correct and scold;
The Lord leads and guides her,
So her words are always gold.
Mothers inspire us to new heights,
They accept only our best;
She will often say, "Do what you can,
And then let God do the rest."
Mothers are a flower from God's garden,
A precious pearl in His sight;
So spend your day loving her,
Then thank God for her at night.
