In the word is history,
Stories of days gone by;
One can find Abraham,
Or how Daniel didn't die.

Noah built an ark,
Filled with animals two by two;
Moses and Isaiah are there,
Samson and David, too.

In the word is found life,
The New Testament tells it all;
How Jesus came to earth,
To change the fate from man's fall.

Water was changed to wine,
Men were raised from the dead;
Thousands of people were fed
From two fish and five loaves of bread.

Jesus suffered terribly,
For the sins of all men;
But death didn't defeat him,
He arose and lives again.

In the word, one finds answers,
To questions that haunt the soul;
Jesus is the answer,
He will make you whole.
