Perk your ears and listen close,
There's a soft, little voice across
the way;
His voice is soft but his eyes are
keen,
It's a small little boy we know as
Jay.
Cars and trucks fill his world,
A hero he finds in Dad;
His smile will light up the room,
He's quite a charming little lad.
His cousin called him, "Kissee
Boy,"
Of course he ran away;
We laughed and said to ourselves,
Too bad that will change someday.
Jay's the baby in a crowd of six,
His brothers and sisters love him;
With his quiet, cheerful, charming
way,
Joy in their house never dims.
Jay is a boy, he shall grow,
He will one day be a man;
And with so many who love him much,
He'll never yearn for fans.
