Joshua
Alan is a teenager,
He will soon learn to drive;
He has grown up a lot,
But if I see him, I will take a dive.
Josh
loves his video games,
Work is not at the top of his list;
But if anything happened to him,
He would surely be missed.
I
love this grandson of mine,
He is growing to be a fine man;
We need to get through these teen years,
And all will be grand.
Josh
will soon turn sixteen,
And then he must find a job;
If he wants to get a car,
Cause his mom will not rob.
Josh
is a loving boy,
He treats his mother well;
But if the walls of his room could talk,
What a story they would tell.
Joshua
Alan, quit growing so fast,
You have passed us one and all;
Knowing your mom and dad,
Who'd know you could grow so tall.
Joshua
Alan is a teenager,
It tries the best of us;
But God can handle this teen,
Without ever making a fuss.
