One thing I have learned in life,
If I talk with God, He hears all I say;
He will always answer me,
But it is in His time and in His way.

My Lord has a plan for every single life,
Doesn't matter whether it is short or long;
Some will carry many heavy burdens,
Others will forever carry in their hearts a song.

I have learned that when life gets hard,
I have to look for the joy and good;
My God is always with me in those times,
Even though His ways are not understood.

I have learned that after walking through the fire,
God will bless in unforgettable ways;
Unexpected joys and beautiful gifts flow,
He will surround one with love every moment of every day.

I have learned that life is about Jesus,
And not at all about me;
Life is about growing and loving,
Life is about planting Jesus' seed.
