On this Christmas Day,
We will miss you greatly;
We haven't heard you laugh,
Or pick on us lately.

You had to leave us this year,
To go to your heavenly home;
We've already cried many a tear,
Oh, why did you have to roam.

You gave so unselfishly,
No man did you judge;
And any who needed help,
From you received a nudge.

Christmas will come as a joyful day,
But I'm sure we'll speak of you;
We'll laugh and have a great day,
But a small part will also be blue.

We know you would be angry,
If sorrow spoiled our day;
So we will share love and joy,
In your very special way.

We lost my son-in-law, Billy to cancer this past year. It has placed a shadow over all the holidays this year but we all know that Billy would be upset if we let his passing spoil our Christmas. We always all get together for Christmas to laugh and have a good time. This year won't be any different .......Billy will be there in our hearts.
