Too
many lives were taken on September 11. Too many fathers did not come home.......too
many mothers were not seen again......too many husbands/wives were taken
from this earth prematurely......too many firemen and policemen were buried
trying to save their fellow man. This page is done in memory of these. I
pray that their surviving relatives will find peace in the knowledge that
they lie within the arms of theLlord never to suffer again. |

September
11, 2001,
Evil invades our land;
With nothing less than an act of war,
Sending pain we cannot stand.
So many lives cut short this day,
So many lives were lost;
Husbands search for missing wives,
Children can't fathom the cost.

Our
country has suffered a terrible blow,
But she hasn't been brought to her knees;
Our country has banded together,
And we help even those we don't see.
So many loved ones still under debris,
So many families ripped apart;
But the Lord will heal all our wounds,
And help us to make a new start. |

We
will never forget this day,
Or those who caused our pain;
But we will rally round our flag,
And find peace once again.
We won't allow this act to defeat us,
We won't hear of such a thing;
All our voices in unison cry,
"Let Freedom Ring!!!" |
