The devil is on the prowl,
Looking for souls to devour;
He's like a roaring lion,
On any day at any hour.

He wants to catch you off guard,
So he can bring sin into your life;
But do not give in to him,
It will only cause pain and strife.



Put on the full armor of God,
So you will be ready to fight;
Use God's Word as your weapon,
And the devil will flee from your sight.



The devil will try to make you think,
That God loves you no more;
But, just look up at the cross,
Jesus came to open the door.

The devil is always on the prowl,
So be sober minded and alert;
Lean on God for your strength,
He will guide you for cert.
