Prayer

Prayer brings glory to my Lord,
Prayer will always open a door;
Though it may seem He is not there,
Your sorrows and pains He always shares.

Keep praying every day and night,
For Jesus has said this is right;
Do not give up for any reason,
God will answer in due season.

Quietly listening for my Lord to speak,
Is a treasured prayer that He seeks;
Ask what you need from God on high,
Then listen quietly for His reply.

His Word will flow through your mind,
Bringing His peace to mankind;
His love will fill your heart and soul,
And then His will you shall know.
