Prepare ye the way of the Lord,
Get your soul ready for His return;
For Jesus is soon coming back,
And those not ready will burn.

Our broken world is showing the signs,
That must occur before He appears;
Wars, flood, earthquakes and fires,
Should have us all shedding tears.

We should shed tears of repentance,
We need to change our ways;
We must follow Jesus,
Before we reach end of days.

God has warned us again and again,
To give Him all of our hearts;
But we want the control of life,
But it wasn't that way at the start.

God loves us so very much,
He sent Jesus to die in our place;
Now we must trust and obey Him,
And faithfully finish the race.
