REMEMBER
We
can
never
repay
our
vets,
For
the
job
they've
done
for
us;
They
perform
with
great
pride,
Though
they
make
no
fuss.
The
stars
and
stripes
fly
over
this
land,
Because
of
their
unselfish
gift;
We
can
enjoy
our
great
freedom,
So
we
should
give
them
a
lift.
Many
have
fought
and
died,
So
that
we
can
remain
free;
From
service
to
our
country,
They
did
not
want
to
flee.
Our
country
has
its
problems,
It
has
its
ups
and
downs;
But
those
who
serve
this
land,
Serve
with
smiles
not
with
frowns.
Our
country
is
not
perfect,
It
was
built
by
men
such
as
we;
But
there
is
no
other
place
That
I
would
rather
be.
So,
on
this
Memorial
Day,
Remember
those
who
are
gone,
Remember
to
thank
a
veteran,
Remember
to
praise
God
with
song.
